With the release of the first major content patch since Cataclysm came out, let’s take a look at some of the big features Blizzard is rolling out. Today we’ll be taking a look at the Dungeon Journal and how it will affect the game.
The Dungeon Journal is a new system that will allow players to learn about specific dungeons, the bosses inside them, their abilities, and the gear they drop. So now you’ll no longer have to scour wowhead in order to figure out where to get your good pieces of gear. This new journal will also work with raids. This will be extremely handy when teaching new players the mechanics of a fight. Instead of having to watch youtube videos will terrible music in the background, players can now hit a button on the menu tab and learn all about the fight within the game.
Inside each boss page you will see every major spell, ability, and phase for that boss. Hopefully this new feature will help beginning players get a better understanding of dungeons and help raiders get new people into raids quicker.
